Captain Rick LeFiles is a full time
guide working the inshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico from
Homosassa to Cedar key for the past eleven years. He specializes in giant Tarpon
on the fly. Capt. Rick also welcomes the opportunity
to introduce his clients to their first tarpon experience on
light tackle or fly rod. Capt. Rick is the
only local Orvis guide in the area.
What he enjoys most about his job is
being able to live his life passion of fishing for a living. Capt.
Rick also enjoys showing the still pristine waters of the
Withlacoochee River and the native wildlife of the surrounding
areas of the Gulf of Mexico.
Capt. Rick welcomes the novice angler, just getting started,
to the most accomplished fly rod or light tackle expert. Capt. Rick is currently building a new boat with a head so that he can take out parties of four for in-shore fishing as well.
