Local Marinas

There are three marinas in the Yankeetown area that serve boaters, power and sail, and fishermen. In addition there are several local boat ramps. There is a free salt water County ramp at the extreme West end of SR 40 with plenty of parking. There is a fresh water city boat ramp in Yankeetown that is being completely rebuilt with a dock, picnic tables and a fishing pier, but with limited parking. It located on the River directly West of the Coast Guard station. There is a small boat ramp on the River at the end of Elkins Avenue in Inglis without absolutely no parking. Of course, the marinas offer considerably more that just access to the water. Our marinas are listed below:
  B's Marina
B's Marina

B's Marina is friendly to both power boaters and sail boaters. Sail boat dockage is available, and well as covered power boat dockage. There is a good concrete ramp with plenty of parking. B's also is a campground and has hookups for you camper fishermen. Fishing guides are available. There are a number of happy customers that keep their camper there year round. B's is located on in Yankeetown about three miles from the Gulf. This marina has been sold and will become a part of a massive new waterfront project in Yankeetown. However, there are new managers who indicate the current operation will continue on the same basis as before for some period of time.

Riverside Marina & Cottages

A Withlacoochee River marina close to the Gulf.  A great sail boat marina that also welcomes power boaters.  Guest cottages and a ship store complete the package.  The friendly, helpful owners will make your stay a pleasure. They provide dockage for boats up to 80'. For boaters only they provide a land based head/shower facility, laundry and security. Approach depth ranges from 4' to 8' at low tide depending on the dock. This marina is under contract and, if the developers proceed, it also will be a part of the new waterfront development. The owners still operate the marina and may remain as managers for some period of time. The web site is currently down.
